Write This Down – St. Cloud State University Holding Community Creative Writing Workshop

ST. CLOUD - You might want to write the next great American novel - or you might not. Maybe you've written stories or poems before - or maybe you've never tried and always been curious to give it a shot.

In any case, you can learn more about the art of creative writing next week.

The Mississippi River Creative Writing Workshop in Poetry and Fiction, sponsored by St. Cloud State University, will offer presentations by poets and novelists on how to sharpen your creative writing skills.

The workshop will span Tuesday through Friday of next week, with classes from 10:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

It's free, open to all and worth two academic credits.
