CAMP RIPLEY - Wreaths will be placed at gravestones tomorrow (Saturday) at the Minnesota State Veterans' Cemetery.  The St. Cloud Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol will be hosting their annual "Wreaths Across America" event at 11:00 a.m. at the cemetery near Camp Ripley.

The squadron contributed nearly 350 of the 3,000 total wreaths sponsored last year.

There are over 4,500 veterans and family members buried at the cemetery.

The Wreaths Across America began more than 20 years ago, when the Worcester Wreath Company in Harrington, Maine initiated the tradition of donating and placing wreaths on the headstones of the nation's fallen heroes at Arlington National Cemetery.
