ST. CLOUD -- Motorists in south St. Cloud will experience some traffic delays as a major road construction project begins Friday.

Pavement work on County Highway 75 from 22nd Street to 33rd Street South will cause lane closures and traffic lane shifts starting Friday at 6:30 a.m.

Work will continue on Saturday before resuming Monday. The construction is expected last from 4:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m every day next week.

Motorists are urged to use caution while driving through these work zones. Officials suggest you find alternate routes until the construction is completed.

Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by Friday, September 25th.
