Woman Struck By Truck In Minneapolis Has Died

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Police say a woman struck and dragged by a commercial truck in Minneapolis has died.

Authorities say 25-year-old Caitlan Barton, of Savage, had the green light as she crossed a street near Lake Calhoun Wednesday evening when she was hit by the box truck and dragged a quarter of the block. Police say the woman died from her injuries at Hennepin County Medical Center on Thursday.

The driver of the truck is cooperating with investigators.
