Woman Struck By Car While Crossing Highway 23 In St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD - A 21-year-old woman suffered non life-threatening injuries when she was hit by a car while walking across Highway 23 in St. Cloud

The Minnesota State Patrol says the incident happened at about 1:15 a.m. this (Sunday) morning at Highway 23 an 4th Avenue.

Jesafa Banks crossed the westbound lanes from the median against traffic and was hit by a westbound vehicle. She was taken to St. Cloud Hospital.

The driver of the car, 63-year-old Kerry Peterson of St. Cloud, was not hurt.
