Woman Killed in Head-on Collision

ST. CLOUD — A 30-year-old woman was killed in a head-on collision in south St. Cloud.

St. Cloud police say the incident happened just after 4:30 p.m. yesterday (Monday) in the 2800 block of County Road 136.

The woman’s vehicle crossed the center line and hit a vehicle driven by 50-year-old Andy Elwood of St. Cloud. Elwood was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with substantial injuries.

The name of the woman killed has not been released.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated. T

he woman’s body was taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiners Office for an autopsy.
