Woman Killed at Farmington Home, Man in Custody

FARMINGTON, Minn. (AP) - Police in a Twin Cities suburb say an elderly woman is a homicide victim, and a male relative is in custody.

Officers were called to a home in Farmington shortly before midnight Thursday where the woman, believed to be in her 80s, was found dead. Police Chief Brian Lindquist says the woman died of blunt force trauma.

Lindquist says a man related to the victim was arrested at the home. Police say they are not seeking any other suspects.
