MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Metro Transit officials are investigating after a Blue Line light rail train struck a woman.

The incident happened shortly before 9:00 a.m. today (Thursday) at the Franklin Avenue Station.

The woman suffered injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.

Rail service was disrupted for about 90 minutes and buses were used until it was restored.

Metro Transit spokesman Drew Kerr says there were no reports of injuries on the train.
