Woman Found Dead in Coon Rapids, Man Critically Injured

COON RAPIDS -- Police in a Minneapolis suburb are investigating the death of a woman found in an apartment where a man was also critically wounded.

Officers were called to the apartment building shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday. They found a man in the entryway who had obviously been injured. Police found a 34-year-old woman dead inside her apartment. Authorities haven't said how the woman died or how the man was injured.

Investigators say the two had a previous relationship. Police aren't looking for any other suspects. Officials say the 24-year-old man who was injured is listed in critical condition at Mercy Hospital.
