TACONITE, Minn. (AP) - The State Patrol says a 25-year-old woman has died after losing control on her car on an icy stretch of highway in northern Minnesota and colliding with two other vehicles.

The patrol says Kassandra Keske of Marble was southbound on U.S. 169 when the crash happened shortly after 7:00 p.m. Saturday.

According to the patrol, Keske lost control of her Ford Taurus and collided with an SUV and a pickup coming from the opposite direction.

Keske died at the scene.

The SUV driver was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive. The pickup driver was not hurt.

All three motorists were reportedly wearing seat belts.
