Woman Dies After She Was Found Stabbed On Bemidji Street

BEMIDJI, Minn. (AP) - Authorities are investigating a homicide in Bemidji.

Police were dispatched about 7:00 p.m. Friday where they found a woman in the street who had been stabbed repeatedly.

First responders worked to save the 35-year-old woman, but she was pronounced dead at Sanford Medical Center.

Authorities have identified the woman as Krista Fisherman of Redby. No one is in custody.

Bemidji police, Beltrami County sheriff's deputies and the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are investigating.
