ST. PAUL (AP) - Authorities say a St. Paul woman stabbed her longtime boyfriend to death and then slept next to his body.

Forty-seven-year-old Sherry Ann Henderson was charged Monday with second-degree intentional murder in the death of 58-year-old Addison Hillard. Police say she stabbed him during an argument while they were drinking Friday.

According to a criminal complaint, Henderson called a cousin the next day and said she had blacked out and stabbed Hillard. The cousin went over to the apartment and called 911.

The complaint says Henderson told an investigator that she had laid Hillard down and placed a pillow underneath his head because she thought he was sleeping. She told the investigator that she lay next to him and waited for him to awaken.

It wasn't immediately clear if Henderson has an attorney who could comment.
