Everything is bigger in Texas. Unfortunately in the Timberwolves case the age-old saying refers to a large lead they could not hold onto in Houston Friday.

The Minnesota Timberwolves fell to the Houston Rockets 108-100 Friday night at Toyota Center. The Wolves led by 20 points in the third quarter but watched it slip away in the loss.

Derrick Williams and JJ Barea each scored 19 points to lead the Wolves (22-41).
