Two high-flying teams will go head-to-head Wednesday night at Target Center as the Minnesota Timberwolves (3-1) host the Golden State Warriors (3-1).

The Wolves lost their last time out in a 93-92 loss at Cleveland despite a furious Minnesota rally with time expiring in regulation.  Golden State beat up Philadelphia 110-90 on Monday.

Minnesota is averaging 105.3 points per game, good for fifth in the NBA. The Wolves are led by Kevin Love, who has averaged 26.5 points per game.

The Warriors have averaged 112 ppg so far this season, putting them third in the NBA. Klay Thompson, son of former Gopher Mychal Thompson, paces Golden State with an average of 22.5 ppg.

Tonight's game can be heard on AM 1240 WJON, with pregame coverage beginning at 6:30 and tipoff scheduled for 7 pm.
