The Minnesota Timberwolves second-half comeback came up short in a 107-104 loss to the New York Knicks Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden. The loss drops Minnesota to 9-16 on the season.

The Wolves trailed 60-40 at the half and had trouble getting going in the second game of a home-and-road back to back. However, the Wolves found a spark at the half and outscored the Knicks 30-18 in the third quarter.

Ricky Rubio finished a point shy of a triple-double with nine points, 12 assists and ten rebounds. Karl-Anthony Towns scored 25 points and pulled down ten rebounds.

The Wolves will host Sacramento Friday night at Target Center.
