The Minnesota Timberwolves once again failed to hold a lead in the fourth quarter in a loss Sunday to Golden State.

The Timberwolves led by as many as 15 points in the first half but ended up on the wrong end of a 100-99 final against Golden State Sunday at Target Center.

Minnesota (20-33) led the Warriors (33-23) 32-16 as the first quarter wound down, and held a ten point lead with five minutes left in the third period.

The Wolves maintained a six point lead with 6:20 left in the fourth quarter but saw the Warriors go on a 15-8 run to finish the game.

Luke Ridnour's runner as time expired rimmed out, sending the Target Center crowd of over 18,000 home unhappy.

On the bright side, Ricky Rubio nearly had a triple-double for the Wolves with 16 points, eight rebounds, 11 assists and six steals. Derrick Williams led the Wolves in scoring with 23 points on 9-15 shooting.
