Former Tech and South Dakota State standout Nate Wolters played his first game as a professional in his home state Tuesday when he visited Target Center with his Milwaukee Bucks teammates.

Speaking to reporters before the game, Wolters joked that he eventually had to stop answering text messages from people asking for tickets.

Wolters said that his high school coach, Randy Jordan, was bringing a bus full of his Stillwater players to the Target Center for the game. The rookie point guard said he looked forward to playing as a pro in front of his family and friends.

Wolters says that he is appreciative that the Bucks coaching staff has given him plenty of playing time, something not afforded to many second round picks.

In the game, Wolters scored 14 points on 5/6 shooting while adding three rebounds and three assists.
