SCHOOL BUS CRASH -- 60-year-old Jane Gerwing of Pierz, hurt after she hit a vehicle that hit a school bus Friday morning in Morrison County's Buckman Township. Gerwing taken to the hospital. No one else was hurt.

 

SENTENCED -- 44-year-old Anthony Meister of St. Cloud, sentenced to seven years in prison for a string of crimes last year involving selling drugs and check fraud.

 

PLAYGROUND THREATS -- Police arresting a 15-year-old boy, accused of threatening students at the Rice Elementary School playground. Held in juvenile detention.

 

NORTHSTAR FARES -- It's going to cost you 25-cents more to ride the Northstar Commuter train starting Sunday. A way for Metro Transit to shrink a 110-million dollar deficit.

 

HOCKEY DAY MN -- Work is underway this week to build a hockey rink at Lake George for Hockey Day Minnesota coming to St. cloud January 20th.

 

SHAVING BALD -- St. John's University student Austin Hingtgen, organizing a "shave your head bald" fund-raiser to benefit childhood cancer research. Working with the St. Baldrick's Foundation on that event October 20th at Sal's bar and Grill in St. Joseph.

 

HURRICANE THANKS -- A big thank you from Florida hurricane victims who received shipments of water from Distinctive Cabinet Design in Foley. The company has facilities in Florida and sent truckloads of water.

 

CORN MAZE -- A-and-G Produce in St. Joseph is ready for fall with their giant corn maze, open weekends through the end of October from 11 am to dark.
