FATAL CRASH -- A Princeton man, killed and his passenger hurt in an ATV crash. 38-year-old Christian Voigt crashed into some trees and later died. His 10-year-old passenger, taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

 

DUMP TRUCK CRASH -- Three people, hurt when a vehicle turned into a dump truck and the truck rolled near New London Wednesday. non-life threatening injuries for all three.

 

KEILLOR-MPR -- Minnesota Public Radio has terminated its contracts with former "A Prairie Home Companion" host Garrison Keillor. Keillor says he was fired because he put his hand on a woman's bare back as he tried to console her. Keillor says the woman recoiled, he apologized and she later told him she forgave him.

 

BELL RINGERS NEEDED -- The Salvation Army of St. Cloud is looking for more volunteers to be bell ringers. They depend on volunteers to staff their red kettle appeal.

 

ST. JOSEPH SENIOR LIVING -- A new senior living facility opens in St. Joseph. Woodcrest of Country Manor is for 55-year-olds and up and includes options for apartments, around the clock nursing, personal support and other programs.

 

LAKE CALHOUN -- It still needs state and federal approval, but Hennepin County commissioners have approved changing the name of Lake Calhoun in Minneapolis to Bde Maka Ska -- which in Dakota means "White Earth Lake." Commissioners responding to a movement to rename the lake, named after Secretary of War John Calhoun, an outspoken slavery supporter.
