GARAGE FIRE -- A Waite Park garage is a total loss aftera fire Monday night. It happened to a detached garage at 725 3rd Avenuye South. No one was hurt. The cause is under investigation.

 

BODY IDENTIFIED -- Police say it was 41-year-old Jeffery Martin of St. Cloud whose body was found in southeast St. Cloud over the weekend. Investigators are still doing toxicology reports, so no cause or manner of death yet. But police don't suspect foul play.

 

STEARNS COUNTY MEASLES -- Now that there's been one confirmed case of measles in Stearns County, health officials are closely monitoring people who may have been in contact. They're also closely working with state officials, just in case there's a widespread outbreak. Plus, the county's been reaching out to the Somali community to provide parents with information on the importance of innoculating their kids.

 

STEARNS HUMAN SERVICES -- Stearns County's are looking for a new Human Services Administrator after Mark Sizer told commissioners today he's retiring at the end of June. The county board hasn't decided whether to appoint an interim administrator or to have permanent replacement by July.

 

LAKE WOBEGON TRAIL EXTENSION -- After four years of planning and fund-raising, it looks like the Lake Wobegon Trail could be extended 3.2-miles from St. Joseph to Waite Park later this summer. The county's got the needed land will be going out for project bids soon.
