BODY FOUND -- A man's body -- found Thursday afternoon along the banks of the Mississippi River in St. Cloud. Foul play is not suspected. The man's name -- not yet released.

 

MOTORCYCLIST KILLED -- A Benton County man -- killed in a motorcycle crash in Sauk Rapids. Witness say 63-year-old motorcyclist Donald Schreifels hit the end of the median by the Highway 10 overpass on Benton Drive South Wednesday night.

 

DRUG RAID -- A pre-dawn drug raid sends a St. Cloud man to jail. Officers used a search warrant at 345 19th Avenue North in St. Cloud and arrested 30-year-old Antoine Dodd. Marijuana on him. And a body cavity search turned up 36 grams of cocaine IN him.

 

POT HAULING SENTENCE -- A California man, sentenced to 20 years probation after pleading guilty to hauling 50 pounds of marijuana through Central Minnesota. But if John Nilmeyer violates his probation, he could end up in prison for almost a couple years.

 

SARTELL CENTER DONATION -- Another donation for the Sartell Community Center. This time, $10,000 from American Heritage Bank. The center opens in August.

 

BLOCK PARTY PROCEEDS -- St. Cloud area school district students will benefit from Friday night's Liberty Block Party. Proceeds from food and t-shirt sales will go to the District 742 Local Education and Activities Foundation program. This year's block party features Tommy James and the Shondells.

 

GOLDEN KNIGHTS-SCHMIDT -- And former Cathedral Crusader hockey standout Nate Schmidt is a Golden Knight -- selected by the NHL's new Las Vegas franchise in Wednesday's expansion draft. He's played the last four seasons with the Washington Capitals.
