Occasionally a book comes out that catches my eye, so I get a hold of the author and share some insights on the book and look beyond the printed word into the the writer's process and subject matter. Hopefully hearing the writers talk about their work will inspire you to pick up the work.

My special guest this morning was Stewart Friedman, founding director of The Wharton School’s Work/Life Integration Project and Practice Professor of Management at The Wharton School, studied two generations of Wharton college students as they graduated: Gen Xers in 1992 and Millennials in 2012.

In his new book, Baby Bust: New Choices for Men and Women in Work and Family, Prof. Friedman draws on this research to explain why so many young people are not planning to become parents..
