Wisconsin Teen Hurt in Motorcycle Crash in Meeker County

KINGSTON TOWNSHIP -- A Wisconsin boy was hurt after crashing his motorcycle in Meeker County last (Tuesday) night.

The incident happened just before 8:00 p.m. near the intersection of 725th Avenue and 300th Street in Kingston Township.

Meeker County Sheriff Brian Cruze says 17-year-old Colton Deel, of Ashland, Wisconsin, was riding a 2006 Honda motorcycle on 725th Avenue when he lost control and crashed.

A passerby found Deel dazed and walking in a bean field next to the crash site.

He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Deel was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
