Willmar Man Arrested for DWI After Hit and Run

ST. CLOUD - A 31-year-old Willmar man has been arrested after a hit-and-run.

The incident happened at about 10:40 p.m. on Saturday near Highway 15 and 8th Street North.

Officers located the suspect vehicle and arrested 31-year-old Richard Emmit Jones who was allegedly drunk.  Jones' seven-year-old passenger was not hurt.  Jones has three previous convictions for DWI.

The woman driving the vehicle that was hit by Jones was treated for her injuries at St. Cloud Hospital.
