Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, December 11th, at 10:30 AM at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud for William “Bill” Edelbrock, age 77, of St. Cloud, who died on Saturday at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Rev. Leroy Scheierl and Rev. Greg Lieser will officiate. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday between 4:00-8:00 PM and on Thursday between 9:00-9:45 AM at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Parish Prayers will be at 6:00 PM.

Bill was born October 19th, 1937 in St. Cloud to Frederic “Fritz”and Ella (Gacke) Edelbrock. He married the love of his life, Dolores “Dee” Martini on September 7th, 1957 at St. Mary’s Cathedral. He has been a resident of St. Cloud all of his life. Bill was employed as a salesman for Viking Coke, the Shopping News and lastly for the St. Cloud Times. He was a charter member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, where he and his father “Fritz” helped build the original “Quonset Church”, a member of the St. Cloud Stamp Collecting Club and a former member of the St. Cloud Singing Saints.

He enjoyed camping on the “North Shore”, spending time with his family and taking day trips with Dee. Bill was also known as “Prince William” by his close friends for his patience.

Survivors include his loving wife Dee, children; Tim Edelbrock (Jodi) Minneapolis, Pat Edelbrock (Lori) Sartell, Michelle Wurzberger (Mike) Sauk Rapids, Cory Edelbrock, St. Cloud, Scott Edelbrock (Dawna) St. Cloud, Lisa Edelbrock (Dennis Bauer) St. Cloud, 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and sister Terry Moulzolf (Jerry) St. Cloud.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert Edelbrock and daughter-in-law Debbie Edelbrock.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Peter’s Catholic Church, the Poor Clares Monastery in Sauk Rapids, or the Sisters of the Order of St. Benedict in St. Joseph.
