Wilfred J. “Willie” Sexton, 71, St. Cloud

April 23, 1944 - August 29, 2015

Funeral Services will be 12 noon on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud for Wilfred J. “Willie” Sexton, age 71, of St. Cloud, who died August 29, 2015 at Cherrywood Advanced Living in St. Cloud. Reverend Gerald Dalseth will officiate. Burial will take place in Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Wednesday.

Willie was born April 23, 1944 in Cokato, MN to Gervase “Jerry” and Eleanore (Westphal) Sexton. He will be remembered by his family for his love of the Twins, his enjoyment of jig-saw puzzles (which he could do upside down), 4th of July fireworks, playing pool, a cup of coffee and family gatherings.

Willie is survived by his brothers and sisters Barbara of St. Cloud, Thomas (Jean) of Minnetonka, Paula (Dennis) Welch of St. Cloud and Mark (Cathleen) of Clearwater and many nieces and nephews.

Willie is preceded in death by his parents Gervase “Jerry” (1980) and Eleanore (2003), and infant brother Alan.
