Wilderness Camps Still Thrive in International Falls [AUDIO]
I talked with Hugh Haller from the Camping and Education Foundation in Rainy Lake near International Falls, Minnesota. Haller explained that kids 8-18 spend 2 to 8 weeks in their program and travel as far as the Hudson Bay. He says kids come from as far as California, New York and Texas. The kids are taught outdoor skills that include kayaking, canoeing and more. Listen to the conversation below.
