The Minnesota Wild topped the Calgary Flames 2-1 in a shootout Monday night at the Saddledome in Calgary.

Kyle Brodziak scored for the Wild late in the second period after a nice feed from Devin Setoguchi to give Minnesota a 1-0 lead.

A third period Calgary goal sent the game to overtime, and neither team scored in the extra period.

Koivu got the eventual game winner in the shootout to give the Wild their first road win of the season.
