Wild Triumph Over Carolina in Shootout 3-2

RALEIGH, N.C.- Jason Pominville scored the winning shootout goal as the Wild picked up a 3-2 victory on the road against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Pominville also scored the first goal in regulation for the Wild. Justin Fontaine added a game tying goal in the second period for Minnesota.

Josh Harding continues to look great in goal for the Wild, making 27 saves in the action.

The Wild are now 10-4-4 this season. Minnesota returns home Wednesday night to take on the Maple Leafs. Puck drop is set for 6:30 p.m.
