The Minnesota Wild downed Colorado 3-2 in Denver Tuesday night to take a 2-game winning streak into the NHL All Star Break.  Carson McMillan scored the game-winning goal breaking the 2-all tie in the 3rd period.  Dany Heatley and Justin Falk each scored a goal for the Wild.  Niklas Backstrom had 24 saves for Minnesota.  The Wild outshot Colorado 34-26.

Minnesota is 24-18-7 and with 55 points are in 8th place in the Western Conference Standings.  The Wild are 1 point better than Colorado.  Minnesota is off until Tuesday, January 31 at 7:00, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 6:35.
