The Minnesota Wild earned their first regulation road win of the season Thursday night with a 3-1 win at Edmonton. Matt Cullen led the Wild with two goals and an assist.

After a scoreless first period, Ryan Smyth got the Oilers (6-7-3) on the board at 12:26 of the second period with his second goal of the year.

Former St. Cloud State standout Cullen tied the game for Minnesota (8-6-2) with his second goal of the season at 15:02 of the second to send the teams into the intermission tied at one.

Cullen assisted on Devin Setoguchi's third goal of the season at 2:20 of the third period, which would prove to be the eventual game-winner. Cullen's second goal of the night and third of the season at 15:22 sealed the win for the Wild.

The Wild are at Calgary on Saturday night.
