The Minnesota Wild's Cinderella season came to a close Thursday night with a 4-3 loss to the Chicago Blackhawks at Xcel Energy Center. The Wild never led in the series, which Chicago swept 4-0.

Brent Seabrook scored for the Blackhawks at 10:23 of the first period to give his team a 1-0 lead at intermission. Andrew Shaw scored at 3:28 of the 2nd period to give Chicago a 2-0 lead before Erik Haula got the Wild on the board at 6:42.

The Blackhawks scored two more goals late in the third period to take a 4-1 lead before the Wild responded with two of their own to make it a one goal game.

Jason Pominville scored on a power play with 2:18 remaining and Nino Neiderreiter scored :51 later to make the score 4-3, but the Wild could not bury the equalizer to tie the game.
