ST. LOUIS - The Wild lost their final preseason game on the road last night to the St. Louis Blues 4-1.

The Wild maintained a 1-0 lead for a majority of the game after Jared Spurgeon scored at the 10:01 mark in the first period.

After two shutout periods and 15 saves Josh Harding left the game, apparently not feeling well after the second.

Johan Gustafsson started the third in front of the net and was rudely welcomed by the Blues, who quickly scored four goals in the final 20 minutes.

The Wild finish the preseason with a 4-2 record. They will open the season next Thursday, October 3rd at the Xcel against the Los Angeles Kings.
