The Winnipeg Jets beat the Minnesota Wild 5-1 Sunday night in Canada. The loss was the third straight for Minnesota.

The Wild's lone goal came early in the third period from Mikael Granlund to make the score 2-1, but the Jets pulled away late in the third for the win.

The Avalanche also lost Sunday night, so the Wild remain five points ahead of Colorado in the playoff race. With one win in its final two games, Minnesota will clinch a playoff spot.

The Wild hosts San Jose Tuesday night at Xcel Energy Center.
