The Minnesota Wild evened their preseason record with a 4-1 win at Winnipeg Thursday night. The Wild previously lost to Columbus on Tuesday night.

Defenseman Mathew Dumba got the Wild an early lead with a goal at 7:45 of the first period. Mikael Granlund and Eric Haula were credited with assists on the goal.

The Jets tied the game with just over six minutes remaining in the opening period, sending the game to a 1-1 tie at the first intermission. Minnesota pulled away with a pair of second period tallies.

Charlie Coyle gave the Wild a 2-1 lead at 14:37 of the second on a goal, assisted by Dany Heatley. Kris Foucault scored to make the score 3-1 just sixteen seconds later.

Minnesota's Steve Kampfer scored a short-handed goal with 1:05 left in the third period to cap the scoring. Josh Harding made 16 saves on 17 shots in his preseason debut.

The Wild will host the Jets Saturday at Xcel Energy Center.
