Wild Edge Edmonton In Shootout

The Minnesota Wild won 2-1 in an overtime shootout at Edmonton Thursday night.  Dany Heatley scored the lone Wild goal in regulation with just :02 left.  Matt Cullen scored the game-winning goal in the shootout for Minnesota.  Niklas Backstrom had 30 saves for the Wild.

Minnesota and Edmonton were even on shots with 31 apiece.  The Wild are 3-2-2 and will play at Vancouver at 3pm Saturday, pregame on WJON at 2:35.
