The Minnesota Wild earned a 3-2 win over the Calgary Flames in overtime Wednesday night. Minnesota now trails San Jose and Los Angeles by just one point for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

Justin Fontaine and Matt Dumba each scored first-period goals for the Wild, and Mikko Koivu scored at the 1:50 mark of overtime to send Minnesota to victory.

Devan Dubnyk made 35 saves in the win for the Wild, who play at Edmonton on Friday night.
