WASHINGTON - Dmitry Orlov scored with 5:04 remaining after Alex Ovechkin got a tying goal to help the Washington Capitals rally for a 3-2 win over the Minnesota Wild.

Ovechkin got his league-leading 40th goal just over 4 minutes into the third period on a power play Friday, and Brooks Orpik also scored while the NHL-best Capitals completed a four-game homestand with three wins.

Koivu tied a club record by playing in his 743rd NHL game, all with the Wild.
