The Minnesota Wild blew a two goal lead but recovered to beat the Ottawa Senators 3-2 after taking the game to a shootout.

Matt Dumba scored a pair of goals midway through the second period to give the Wild a 2-0 lead, but the Senators answered with a pair of goals before the end of the frame.

Mikko Koivu, Jason Pominville and Charlie Coyle scored in the shootout to help Minnesota to the win.

The Wild maintain the eighth spot in the Western Conference, three points ahead of Los Angeles and San Jose and only one point behind seventh place Winnipeg.
