The Minnesota Wild lost 2-0 at home to St. Louis Thursday night.  Minnesota has been shutout in 3 of their last 4 games.  Roman Polak scored a goal in the first period for the Blue and Andy McDonald added a goal in the 3rd for St. Louis.  Brian Elliott had 23 saves to get the shutout in net for the Blues.  NIklas Backstrom had 18 saves for the Wild.

The Wild are 22-16-2 and are in 2nd place in the Northwest Division and 7th place in the Western Conference.  Minnesota has 46 points and is 4 points ahead of 9th place Phoenix.  The Wild will host Columbus at 7pm Saturday, pregame on WJON at 6:30.  The Wild have 8 regular season games left.
