ST. CLOUD -- A local organization is holding a fundraiser tomorrow (Saturday) to bring awareness of hair-loss issues related to cancer.

Wigs for Women has been holding their annual fundraiser at the River's Edge Convention Center for the past three years.

President and cancer survivor Robin Ott says she started the organization after hearing that many insurance companies do not cover the cost of a wig.

Wigs for Women partners with the St. Cloud Hospital Breast Center Enhancement Program, who uses the money to make the wigs.

Ott says woman's hair is important to them and many can lose their self-esteem with their hair loss.

The fundraiser will include food, live entertainment, a photo booth, face painting and a raffle.

Ott says with being a cancer survivor herself, being able to help women feel and look beautiful through this organization is a special feeling.

The event runs from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. tomorrow (Saturday). Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.

If you would like to get involved with Wigs for Women you can call Robin Ott at 320-761-5529.
