White Sox Beat Twins 11-4
The Twins lost 11-4 to the Chicago White Sox Tuesday night. The Twins went out to a 4-2 lead when Josh Willingham hit his 2nd homerun of the night in the 6th inning. Chicago scored 9 runs off the Twins' bullpen in the 7th and 8th innings to win the game. Willingham was 2-4 with 2 homeruns and 4 RBIs and both Denard Span and Justin Morneau each had 2 hits for Minnesota.
Cole DeVries started the game and threw 6 innings with 2 runs allowed (1 earned). Casey Fien allowed 3 hits, 2 walks and 2 earned runs without recording an out to take the loss.
The Twins are playing the White Sox again today in Chicago.
