OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- The Oklahoma City Thunder and their dynamic point guard exploded in the fourth quarter en route to a 113-99 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night.

With Kevin Garnett sitting the game out, the Wolves stuck with the Thunder, who are without star Kevin Durant and battling for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.

The Thunder's other superstar, point guard Russell Westbrook, was simply unstoppable as he finished with a triple-double -- scoring a game-high 29 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds.

Center Gorgui Dieng led the Wolves in scoring with 21 points and 14 rebounds, while rookie Andrew Wiggins added 19.

Newcomer Justin Hamilton finished with 17 points -- the second straight game in which the young center scored in double digits.

Minnesota only trailed by seven heading into the fourth quarter until Westbrook and the Thunder put the game away, scoring 34 points as a team in the final 12 minutes.

With the loss, the Wolves fall to 14-50 on the season and will travel to San Antonio to take on the Spurs tomorrow night.
