West Metro Corridor Project Making Progress

ST. CLOUD -- Another big step in completing the West Metro Corridor project. Traffic will be switched to the newly constructed eastbound lanes of Veterans Drive Monday.

The shift will allow crews to complete the westbound lanes of that project.

The traffic lane switch means there will be no direct access to Walnut Drive from Veterans Drive until the lanes are completed.

Also, access to the Holiday Station Store and Liberty Savings Bank will now be via Veterans Drive. And, Brenda Lee Drive is closed at Stearns County Road 134. After the traffic switch on Veterans Drive, motorists on Brenda Lee Drive will be able to access veterans via Rolling Ridge Road.

Weather permitting, work on Veterans Drive is expected to last another month before the completion of the West Metro Corridor project.
