MEEKER COUNTY -- A Watkins man is hurt after a two vehicle crash today (Tuesday).

The incident happened at about 9:45 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 24 and County Road 34 in Meeker County.

The State Patrol says 99-year-old Earl Munson, of Watkins, was heading south on County Road 34, when he stopped at a stop sign, pulled out and was hit broadside by a Ford Super Duty heading east on Highway 24.

Munson suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the ford, 49-year-old Richard Carty of Cedar, was not hurt.
