Watch Out For New Detours Along Pinecone Road

SARTELL -- Sartell residents should expect a few new detours along Pinecone road starting Monday.

Pinecone Road from 7th Street North to Sundance Road will be closed to thru traffic beginning at 8:00 a.m.

The road will be closed to begin pavement removal.

The intersection of Pinecone Road North and 2 1/2 Street North will remain open to East-West traffic until the final week before paving.

Local business will still be accessible from 7th Street North. Residents of Pine Tree Pond and Rolling Meadows neighborhoods will have access to 2 1/2 Street North and should detour via 19th Street North or Riverside Avenue.

Other detour routes include 7th Street North from Pinecone Road North to Riverside Avenue, Riverside Avenue from 7th Street North to Heritage Drive and Heritage Driver from Riverside Avenue to Pinecone Road South.

Detours will remain in effect until August when the Roundabout at Heritage Drive is under construction.
