WADENA, Minn. (AP) - A search warrant says authorities digging at a farm in Wadena County are looking for human remains.

But, state and local officials didn't immediately say if anything was found.

Dan Hansen says 50 to 60 law enforcement officers showed up at the farm with a backhoe Monday and started digging at an old excavation dump created years ago as part of the family business.

Reports say Wadena County sheriff's deputies and officers from the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension dug up an area about the size of a tennis court on the 160-acre property north of Wadena. Hansen says he's angry that authorities just showed up and started digging.

He questions what evidence they had to obtain the search warrant. Sheriff's officials and the BCA did not immediately return a call for comment.
