WAITE PARK – A Waite Park woman was hurt when the car she was driving was stuck by a truck.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the incident happened at about 5:15 p.m. yesterday (Thursday) at the intersection of Highway 23 and County Road 138.

Forty-year-old Kristen Betterman was heading west on Highway 23 when a Super Duty truck crossed the eastbound side of Highway 23 and went into the westbound lanes.  Betterman was taken to St. Cloud Hospital. A hospital spokeswoman says she’s listed in fair condition this morning.

The driver of the truck was 35-year-old Gary Spychala of St. Joseph.  He was not hurt.
