Waite Park Will Grow Larger Next Year

WAITE PARK - The Waite Park city council has voted to annex part of St. Joseph Township.  The annexation will go into effect on New Year's Day and includes an area of land near the Sauk River and County Road 137.

There are a little over 700 people who live in that area, which includes Bel Clare Acres.

Waite Park and St. Joseph Township have had an orderly annexation agreement since 2001.
