WAITE PARK -- A public hearing will be held Monday regarding the closure of the Tri-County Mobile Home Park in Waite Park.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider the anticipated closure of the mobile home park as part of a planned development for hotels and event center, review the park owner's closure statement and consider the impact the parks closing may have on the displaced residents.

Waite Park officials has been following the necessary legal actions in the closure process and the public hearing follows Minnesota Statute.

Dan Wilson, of Wilson Development Services, has been appointed as a neutral third party to discuss and provide information regarding the closure with affected residents.

The public hearing is set for 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers located in Waite Park City Hall.
